1918-07-16: Cox embarked for the E.F. by sea with 108Sqn. 1918-09-15: Cox was missing in DH-9, D-3107; during the bombing of Bruges. His pilot, Lt John James Lister, (British) was also missing. Both were reported to be POWs, interned in Holland. Cox suffered a broken collar bone in the crash. Cox was repatriated 1918-11-15.
