619 Squadron. Lancaster aircraft DV 330 was lost in the sea off Warnemund, Germany during a night trip to Berlin, Germany. Flying Officer R.M. Rumble, F/Os P.J. Coleman (RAF), and W.H.C. Pateman (RAF) were also killed. Three other crew members, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
