77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Halifax II aircraft DT 632 KN-Z was shot down at Vreden, Germany during night operations over enemy territory. Six of the crew, not Canadians, also killed. W/O Moran had made a crash landing in a 1652 HCU Halifax JB 849 March 18, 1943. Addendum: The squadron was based at Elvington when Halifax aircraft DT 632-Z was shot down. The Six RAF members of the crew who were also killed were: Sergeants J.D. Mahoney, L.A. Stimpson, R.G. Miles, W.A. Pasqual, J.T. Murray, and Flying Officer F.A. Clark. This completes this crew list.
