Pilot Officer AH Durnin (RCAF) survived, uninjured. P/ O Durnin had previously been seriously injured in the crash of 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit Halifax BB 208, 1943-07-09. Pilot Officer Durnin would be killed 1944-07-29 in 408 Squadron Lancaster LL 687 EQ-M on a raid to Hamburg, Germany, along with most of the crew that had survived the crash of Lancaster DS 768 EQ-J |
