1912-01-09: Avro Flying School. Brooklands. Avro Biplane, RAeC cert172 1913-01-11: to be 2nd-Lieutenant 1913-11-05: resigns commission Flew with the RFC and the RNAS. On 1914-11-21 he attacked the Zeppelin sheds at Lake Constance. Sippe was awarded the D.S.O in 1915 he died in 1968.
