32 OTU (32 Operational Training Unit)

The Operational Training Unit (OTU) was the last stop for aircrew trainees. They spent 8 to 14 weeks learning to fly operational aircraft (Hawker Hurricane or Fairey Swordfish, e.g.). The instructors had experience in actual operations, and often were posted to OTUs after their operational tour.

To No. 1 Training Command 10 October 1941 for Conversion Training Squadron Picton. To No. 3 Training Command 8 Dec 1941 for Conversion Training Squadron Rockcliffe, Ont. Taxied into Goblin #NR335, Rockcliffe, 12 Jan 1942. To No. 9 Repair Depot, St Jean 2 July 1942 for turret fitment by CC&F.
