1917-12-12: 2nd-Lieutenant, RFC. 1918-01-27: RAeC cert.# 7247. 1918-05-10: posted to 1Sqn, RAF. 1918-06-11: Kullberg was OK in SE5a, C-6441; when he struck a grass cutter on landing from practice of formation flying. 1918-09-16: Kullberg was wounded in combat while on patrol. The location and circumstances were not included in the record, nor whether he returned to war service. He scored 19 aerial victories, making him an ace.
