1918-09-27: Kolosoff was injured in Avro 504, E-3577; when on a steep turn he over-banked at 100 feet and started to spin which ended at the ground. His instructor, 2Lt Ernest Gladstone Smith, Canadian, was slightly injured. 1919-02-03: Aeroplane Officer.

Lieutenant William Johnston Kolosoff was cremated.
