1915-07-12: RAeC cert 1523, Curtiss School, Toronto, Ontario 1915-10-22: under instruction 9RS, Norwich, England 1916-02-18: posted 12Sqn, France. 1916-07-01: Van Nostrand missing in BE2c, 4404; during bombing of St Quentin. He was flying without an observer to increase the bomb load & was later reported to be a POW, in Holland. He was repatriated 1918-11-22.
