His air-gunner, Lt George Beaumont Bate, (British) was also OK. 1917-07-28: Dinsmore was OK in DH-4, A-7478; when he force-landed at Beaumetz after the engine cut out while planing down through cloud on an altitude test. His air-gunner, 2Lt Eric John Detmold, (British) was also OK.
