1917-11-21: posted to 46SWqn 1917-12-13: Clark was missing in Camel, B-5209; when he force landed Lost way and landed Colonne, near Merville, with pressure pump trouble on Close Operational Patrol. He took off again but did not return to the aerodrome. He was last seen by 102Sqn on solo patrol. He was shot down and taken POW, repatriated 1919-01-11.
