1917-09-05: Catchpole OK in RE-8, A-4722; when he overshot the aerodrome, and crashed on practice. 1918-08-21: Catchpole OK in Bristol F2B, C-1034; after forced landing on rough ground at edge of aerodrome as petrol had given out on an artillery observation and photography. His air-gunner, Lt John Eversleigh Kendrick, DFC, British was also OK.
