1918-04-17: Bonynge was an American citizen who came to Canada to enlist in the RFC. He died on this date in a flying accident during his pilot training program at Beamsville School of Aerial Fighting. His flight-instructor, Canadian 2Lt John Lester Grant was injured, but recovered.
