1917-06-05: Harris was wounded, shot down and made PoW in FE2b A-857 when it was attacked by 6 hostile aircraft and seen to spiral down and land under control SW of Lesdaines on recce. His pilot, Capt Francis Percival Don (British) was also wounded and made PoW . Harris was repatriated 1918-12-19. Don was reparriated 1919-01-00.
