1918-01-07: RAeC cert. # 5806, 1918-07-13: Laybourne was injured in BE2e, C-7105. It stalled after take off and nosedived to the ground. Cadet PS Ryan, who was the pilot, was killed in the crash; pilot-instructor Layboune was injured, but recovered. He survived the war.
