Gooderham is one of the fallen of St. Andrew's College in Aurora, Ontario, an 'Andrian'. He was one of the first students in 1915 to graduate from the Curtiss Aviation School at Long Branch Aerodrome. He came through the war although he suffered serious mental issues due to his experiences. His parents reported him missing and his body was later found dead floating at the docks at the end of Bathurst St.
