Poulter was reputedly a Canadian, but I have been unable to confirm any connection to the country. His name does not appear on any ships manifest in the Canadian archives, so by default he has been shown as British. No 24 Squadron RFC was based at Matigny, a short way east of Béthencourt-sur-Somme. Poulter was killed in action in a dogfight over Villers Outreaux, where he is buried. FAG lists DOB as 1899-03-00
