Jenks transferred to the Royal Flying Corps on 1917-03-15. Flying the FE2d, he scored 7 victories between 1917-03-15 and 1917-09-30 as an observer, flying with 3 different pilots (Capt Harold Satchell, Capt Frank Stevens, 2Lt William Durrand) with 20 Squadron before returning to Canada as an instructor. Post war, he became a dentist and took his own life in 1938 after shooting his wife.
