- 2/1/Newfoundland Regt 2547 Pte; made Lt. in Nfld. Rgmt 1916-04-20, transfer to RFC on 1918-01-18, 2nd Lt. in RFC 1917-03-31 and to 84 SQN in England on same date, to 40 Sqn 1917-08-16, to 29 Sqn November, 1917. He flew a Nieuport Scout with 29, and went missing in a dogfight SE of Roulers, France 1918-03-18. Later he was posted as Killed in Action.
