The Pilot, Lt. P. Messenger (British) was injured. *L.S.* 1918-03-26: Webster died as a passenger in a C.A.JN-4 'Canuck' when it lost flying speed at low altitude, and crashed. The pilot, 2Lt Philip Messenger (Canadian) also died in the crash.
