Squadron Leader CN Tingle Jr (RCAF) died in 101 British General Hospital of injuries received when the car in which he was a passenger crashed into the rear end of a parked Lorry. The driver of the car was blinded by oncoming headlights and couldn't see the Lorry. The accident took place on the Brussels, Belgium to Louvain road.
