1917-11-03: St. James died on this date when his H.P. bomber crashed in the sea. Other crew members killed were: Flight Sub Lieutenant Walter Albert Isaaca, (British) and Probationary Flt Officer Thomes Reginald Weston, (British). Two crew members were injured but survived: Probationary Flight Officers Vyvian Holcombe Hervey (Canadian) & John Alexander Smith (British).
