Rogers travelled to Toronto to take a flying course which he had completed before his enlistment. 1917-08-31: to be flight commander with 52Sqn 1917-10-27: Rogers was wounded in his hip and head during artillery observation work, by A.A, fire. He died of his wounds on 1918-10-30, three days later.
