1918-02-21: Ringland died in Curtiss JN-4a, C-748; in a mid-air collision at 1,000 feet at Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Cadet Roy Broun, the pilot of the other aircraft was seriously injured in the crash, but survived.
