Listed as Army, but was attached to the RFC.Shot down, may have brought down one German aircraft in fight. 1916-12-16: Murray was piloting a BE2c with 2Lt T. Thompson as observer when he was shot down. Lt. Murray was injured but died 3 days later, 2Lt Thompson was killed.
