Aerial engagement where his Observer (Lt Arthur William Hammond, MC) shot down 3 aircraft. Multiple wounds but lived. Died of pneumonia 1918-11-06. 1918-03-27: McLeod and his Observer Lt Hammond were missing in FK8 B-5773, after take off from a forced landing at Avsnes-le-Comte on low bombing special mission to Albert. They were both wounded but managed to complete the mission and return.
