Aircraft was hit bu anti-aircraft fire but he was able to bring it back to base. Crashed on landing. The Observer survived. *S.L.* 1916-09-03: McCutcheon (pilot) was killed and observer 2Lt. F.W. Rennie (British) injured. The aircraft was damaged by AA fire on artillery Obs. and side-slipped and nose-dived to the ground beside aerodrome. FAG lists DOB as 1889-08-08
