Likely attached RAF.Listed as Central Ontario Regiment in the Book of Remembrance. *L.S.* 1918--04-21: Lewtas died in Avro 504 C-554 when it had engine failure at 100 feet, he turned downwind, lost lift, stalled over the river and nose-dived into the bank. His pilot-trainee, 2Lt Griffith William Evans (British) also died in the crash.
