Shot Down by anti-aircraft fire. The pilot was also killed. *SL* 1917-03-24: Leggo was killed in BE2c, 2515; when it was hit by AA fire, lost the tail of the aircraft and came down in vertical nosedive from 6,000 feet while on artillery obs St Catherine. His pilot, Capt Greyville Oxley Brunwin-Hales, (British) waa also killed. FAG lists DOB as 1894-11-15
