1918-07-31: Gow was missing in Camel, D-3394; believed hit by machine gun fire from the ground during combat with an enemy aircraft near Roulers while on a Hostiles Operation Patrol. Gow had been shot down and made a POW during the action. He died of his wounds and injuries on 1918-08-10, 11 days later. FAG lists date of death as 1898-01-30
