It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. Ferguson was shot down and reported missing on 1918-03-13 and reported a POW on 1918-04-08, repatriated 1918-12-18. He remained in the RAF after the war until his death on 1920-10-27 from Pulmonary Tuberculosis, attributed to his military service and time as a POW.
