Clarke, Clarence V. Flight Lieutenant. Enlisted August 6, 1914. He was wounded at St. Julien and discharged as unfit for further service. He enlisted again in the R.N.A.S. receiving his commission. He was ready for action when he met with an unfortunate accident in May 1918 which made him unfit for further duty. He was twenty-one years of age when he first enlisted and had lived in Hespeler for four years before that time. His mother is Mrs. H. Clarke of Hespeler. He died Sunday, 1919-02-016 at the home of his sister, Mrs. E.W.Dawe, Langley Mill, Yorkshire, England.
