Known to have landed behind enemy lines. No known grave. *S.L.* 1917-06-06: Baylis died in RE-8, A-3235; when he was brought down, most probably by machine gun fire from the trenches, while on a photo recce mission. His pilot, 2Lt Edward Jacot, (British) was also killed.
