"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Pilot - W/O Bob Boorman RCAF Navigator F/S Bill Bryant RAF Flying through the Eiffel Tower."

1918-02-18: Fachnie was injured at 90RS, Shotwick, in Avro 504, D-12; when he allowed the fuel tank pressure to drop too low, causing engine failure. He misjudged his forced landing in a field and crashed.1918-10-02: Fachnie was injured in Camel, E-7297; at 51TDS, when coming down to land from 100 feet, attempted to turn with insufficient bank, got into a spin and continued to spin into the ground.
