1917-07-17: to be 2nd-Lieutenant, RFC, France. 1917-10-04: posted to 19Sqn, France. 1917-10-24: 2 weeks later; Golding was missing in Spad, A-6709; when he got separated in combat and was not seen again during offensive patrol. Golding was later reported shot down and a POW, interned in Holland.. He was repatriated 1918-08-18.
