Edgar Taylor was an American citizen who came to Toronto in 1917 to join the RFC. With 79Sqn he shot down 1 enemy aircraft and four 'Drachen' observation balloons before he was shot down and killed by ground AA fire on 1918-08-25, while attacking a balloon.

Lieutenant Edgar Taylor has no known grave.
