420 Snowy Owl Squadron (Pugnamus Finiturn) RAF Middleton St George. Flying Officer Jackson kept Wellington aircraft HE 422 under control long enough for the crew to bail out. He went down with the aircraft and was killed when it crashed near Shipston at Burmington, Warwich, England.
