123 Squadron (Swift To Strike). Thunderbolt aircraft KJ 263 lost during an attack against the aerodrome at Slewekpi Leure. Very few Canadians flew Thunderbolts and those only in the Far East. In late 1944 and early 1945 these aircraft were used in a few RAF Squadrons to dive bomb and drop 1200 lb. containers of Napalm on Japanese positions.
