31 Squadron RAF (In Caelum lndicum Primus). Dakota aircraft MA 929 left Dinjan, India for Fort Hertz, Burma for a supply dropping operation for the British 14th Army and was lost without a trace. The wreckage has not been found and identified to date
Warrant Officer Class II J J Casaubon (RCAF), Flight Lieutenant N L Baugh MC (RAF), Flying Officer H J M Campbell MiD (RAAF), Flight Sergeant J O Nicholls (RAFVR), Warrant Officer K R Phelps (RAAF) and Aircraftman Class I T G Williamson (RAFVR) were all missing, presumed killed in action
