This included trains, trucks, engines, signal boxes and radio stations. The aircraft was shot down by an USAAF Mustang P-51 fighter aircraft near Rotenburg, Hanover, Germany. RCAF pilot Flying Officer R.W.A. Rankin was killed. RAF navigator Pilot Officer D.S. Judd was taken Prisoner of War, but was repatriated to England on 23 May 1945.
