464 Australia Squadron (Aequo Animo). Mosquito aircraft NT 177 took off from Rosiers, France.
The aircraft was part of a force of 16 aircraft from 464 Squadron detailed to carry out a daylight raid bombing and strafing enemy communications in Germany. This included trains, trucks, engines, signal boxes and radio stations. The aircraft was shot down by an USAAF Mustang P-51 fighter aircraft near Rotenburg, Hanover, Germany.
