158 (Conversion Flight) Squadron (Strength In Unity) RAF Eastmoor. Halifax aircraft BB 203 NP-Z crashed at Manor Farm, Cornborough, Yorkshire during a conversion training flight. The aircraft was observed to be flying at an unusually low altitude and while attempting to land at RAF Eastmoor, stalled in a turn, struck a chimney on a house at Cornborough Farm and crashed with the loss of all air crew aboard
